Prevent Skype from automatically starting on Windows 10. Open the Skype Desktop application on your computer. Next, click on Tools in the top menu bar and then click on the Options ... tab in the drop-down menu (See image below). On the options screen, disable the Start Skype option when you start Windows and click Save.
