Create Animations, Collages, and Movies on Google Photos from Computer

Make a movie from a theme.

Currently, you can only make one movie on your phone or tablet. But you can make a movie of a special theme on your desktop.

1. On your computer, go to photos.google.com.
2. Sign in to your Google account.
3. On the left, click the Assistant.
4. At the top, click on Movie.
5. Select a movie theme.
6. Click on Start.
7. Select the photos.
8. Click Done.

Make animations or collages.

Animation is a group of photos that come together to create a photo of a moving subject. A collage is a group of photos combined in a photo.

1. On your computer, go to photos.google.com.
2. Sign in to your Google account.
3. On the left, click the Assistant.
4. Select Animation or Collage.
5. Choose the photos you want to include.
6. At the top, click Create.

Make a movie

If you have an old device, you may not be able to create movies.

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Photos application.
2. Sign in to your Google account.
3. At the bottom, tap Assistant.
4. At the top, touch Movie.
5. Select the photos or videos you want in the movie.
6. In the upper right, touch Create.

• To watch your movie, play.
• To add a title, at the top, touch Untitled.

Tip: You can also select a theme for your movie and it will automatically do it for you.
