Wondering how to convert your Twitter followers into Snapchat followers?

Let’s be honest, some of us have spent years building an audience on Twitter.

We have tweeted, followed and favored.

However, you should not ignore the greenest pastures of today, like Snapchat, and the audience you’ve built on Twitter can be valuable.

So, how do you get your Twitter followers to follow you on Snapchat?

Here are some tips:

  1. Put your Snapchat QR code as your twitter bioimage

The first step may be in your search for your Twitter followers to follow you on Snapchat.

Through its Snapcode (that specific yellow ghost for your account), it is very easy to add someone to Snapchat simply by scanning the code in the application.

2. Add a call to action to follow you on Snapchat at the end of your biography.

To make this as short as possible, simply say “Snapchat: username” or “SC: username”, as people begin to recognize that abbreviation.

I have spent a month without doing any other type of promotion and I have had between 10 and 20 followers of Twitter only with this and the profile image.

3. Save your snapshots and republish them on Twitter with your name.

It’s very easy to save your Snap stories, and it makes sense to give them additional exposure if you have a Twitter account involved.

Tweet your stories or screenshots to show your Twitter followers that, if they do not follow you on Snapchat, they’re missing out on all the other great things you post.

Save this for your best Snapchat stories, you do not want to bomb certain Twitter followers who may not be interested.

4. Post teasers so that people follow you on Snapchat for more.

It is important to keep in mind that none of these strategies is “one and it is done”.

Think of it as a continuous process, or a habit that you acquire as part of your broader marketing efforts.

If you have a long series of Snaps for Snap stories, create the first Snap in a way that introduces the topic and sparks interest and then saves the story before doing the rest.

Snapchat allows you to save your stories but will export them all together, so it is a bit easier to export before moving to parts B, C, D, etc.

By posting part A on Twitter and inviting people to follow you on Snapchat to get the rest, you can successfully instill some FOMO and, hopefully, deliver the value proposition when they follow you for the rest, whether the value is humor, entertainment, or informative.

5. Do a ‘question and answer session’ only on Snapchat and promote it on Twitter.

Frankly, some of these work better if you have some knowledge and/or offer some value that the people on your Twitter account want to learn.

Experts who have these kinds of followers will get more from hosting a question and answer session than people who have 300 of their friends and real-life relatives who follow them.

You can also respond to your audience and ask your audience if you have any questions (on the subject in which your most considerate expert is) and send a tweet to your Twitter as well.

Other ways to amplify your next Snapchat:

  1. Do not forget to add people to your contacts.

Start with the people you know!

If you are a mother with a child on Snapchat, you may have to be kind if your child does not accept your application, it is half the reason why they are here and they do not post these things on Facebook

2. Consider adding to some of these unofficial Snapchat directories

There are some very nasty Snapchat directories out there, but these seem to be legitimate as far as I can tell.

a) AddMeSnaps
b) Ghost
c) Snapchat directory
d) Ghost codes
