Edit a Google photo book

You can customize the look of your photo book. Any changes you make will be automatically saved.

Here to Know How to Edit Google Photos Books on Computer/PC/Laptop

  1. On your computer, open photos.google.com.
  2. Sign in to your Google account.
  3. On the left, click on photo books.
  4. Select a photo book to edit.
  5. When you're done, click on Cart to buy the photo book. Learn to buy a photo book.

To buy back a past order that has a collage, use your computer. You cannot add or edit collages with the Google Photos app.

On Android, iPhone/iPad Device

  1. On your Android phone/tablet, iPhone/iPad device, open the Google Photos application.
  2. Sign in to your Google account.
  3. Touch Menu Menu and then Photo Books.
  4. Select a photo book to edit.
  5. To buy the photo book, touch Cart

Change your cover photo and title

  1. Add a title: On the first page, click Add a title.
  2. Change the cover photo: On the first page, click on the photo and then on Replace. Select a new cover photo and click Done.
  3. Add text to the spine: on the first page, to the left of the cover image, click Add title. You need at least 48 pages for a softcover or a hardcover photo book.

Change the position or design of the photo.

  1. Change the design of your photo: point to the page and click on the images on the side. You can also drag inside the photo to position it.
  2. Rearrange photos: drag a photo to another page. You can also do this using the preview panel on your right.
  3. Add a photo: click Add photos Add and then Add photo pages.
  4. Add a collage: Click Add photos Add and then Add collage page.
  5. Edit a collage: Point to the collage page and click on the images on the side.
  6. Delete a photo: on the photo page, click Delete Delete. On a collage page, click on the image and then on Delete Trash.
  7. Add a title: Point to the page and click Add title. Enter your title and check the box to save it. Subtitles are not available for full-page photos. If you try to add a title to a full-page photo, the photo will resize.

Check your warnings

When you see a low-resolution warning, it means that the photo may be blurred when printed. You can still print the photo, but it may not look the same as on your screen.

To see all the pages you may need, at the top, click Warning notification information.

Click on the warning to view the page.
