1. Check Your Spam and Promotions Folder

If you are not getting OTP email, you must check your Spam and promotional folders because sometimes Gmail applies an auto filter especially for banking messages.

2. Delayed Network or Server Issues

OTPs are time-sensitive, but they rely on email servers to reach you. A temporary network issue on your device or a server delay from the sender’s side may cause late delivery, and if you are connected to a weak internet connection or mobile data, try switching to a stable Wi-Fi network and check again.

3. Blocked or Filtered Settings

If settings in your Gmail are set by you for blocking unknown or some specific type of email, OTP emails may not appear in your inbox because Gmail filters may find some emails as suspicious. To solve this problem, you should go to Settings > Filters and Blocked Addresses in Gmail and review your filters and remove any rules that could block OTP-related messages.

4. Incorrect Email ID Registered

6. Security or Firewall settings

Suppose you are using a device whose setting is enabled for any particular restricted area, only a restricted device for any particular location or are connected through a restricted network. In that case, the system firewall might block individual incoming emails.
