Create, delete or rename folders in Yahoo Mail
Don't let a flood of messages add more stress to your already busy life! Create, edit and delete folders with ease in Yahoo Mail to keep your email organized and manageable.
Create a folder
- Near the bottom of the left column, click New folder.
- Enter a new folder name.
- Click on the Save icon.
Create a subfolder
- Mouse over the folder to which you want to add a subfolder.
- Click on the Folder Options icon.
- Select Create subfolder.
- Enter a new subfolder name.
- Click on the Save icon.
Delete a folder or subfolder
- Move over the folder you want to delete.
- Click on the Folder Options icon.
- Select Delete folder.
Rename a folder or subfolder
- Click on the Folder Options icon.
- Select Rename folder.
- Edit the name of the folder.
- Click on the Save icon.
