Create, delete or rename folders in Yahoo Mail

Create a folder

  1. Near the bottom of the left column, click New folder.
  2. Enter a new folder name.
  3. Click on the Save icon.

Create a subfolder

  1. Mouse over the folder to which you want to add a subfolder.
  2. Click on the Folder Options icon.
  3. Select Create subfolder.
  4. Enter a new subfolder name.
  5. Click on the Save icon.

Delete a folder or subfolder

  1. Move over the folder you want to delete.
  2. Click on the Folder Options icon.
  3. Select Delete folder.

Rename a folder or subfolder

  1. Click on the Folder Options icon.
  2. Select Rename folder.
  3. Edit the name of the folder.
  4. Click on the Save icon.
