Snapchat is a service to send and receive photos, videos and text messages on mobile phones. The sender of a message can determine the period in which a message can be viewed by setting a limit between one and ten seconds.

I cannot create an account or access my account

There are some reasons why you might have problems logging in or creating an account:

“Could not connect” error:

If you see this error, it may be because you are using an application or an unofficial Snapchat add-on. If you uninstall the application and use the official Snapchat application, you should be able to log in again.

The account is locked:

Generic error message:

You may see a generic error message (such as “login error”) on the login screen for several reasons:

· A common cause is if you have rooted your Android device. The uprooting of your Android device, the removal of other applications and third-party add-ons and the reinstallation of Snapchat are all ways to try to solve this problem.

· We also found that some Snapchat users who use a VPN to connect to Snapchat may have problems creating an account or logging in. Try switching to a different network and log in again.

· Another reason you may see an error is if your account has been marked by sending spam or violating our Terms of Service or the Community Guidelines in any way.

· Snapchat may not be compatible in your country. In that case, you can use a VPN service (it may not be legal).

· Your preferred username could have been taken by someone who already created the Snapchat account.

· The DOB you are entering is putting you under 13 years of age.

· Verify your mobile phone number and your email ID. You may be typed incorrectly. The correct mobile phone number and email are important for Snapchat to verify you as a user when you send a confirmation code when you register.

· Make sure you have a stable Wi-Fi or mobile data connection before you start the registration process. Sometimes, the network can cause problems and that may be the reason if you experience difficulties logging in.
