You may be searching for a way of how often you need to take a screenshot on your iPhone. The short cut to take a screenshot on an iPhone is to press the start and lock buttons together on your phone at the same time to capture a screenshot. Unless, the scenario is different if you own an iPhone X or later version, in which you need to press Lock and Volume up buttons at the same time.
Take a screenshot on an iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XR or any new model which has no Start button
If you have a newly launched iPhone model, in which the Start button is removed in favor of Face ID, then it the screenshot will be taken by using the buttons on the sides of the phone.
1. Make sure your iPhone shows what you want to capture.
2. Press and hold the Power button on the right side of the phone.
3. At the same time, press the Volume Up button.
4. You should see the screen blinks and a screenshot image appears in the lower-left corner on the screen. Release both buttons and you will find the image in your Photos app, find the photo there and you can edit and send the screenshot photos as well.
